Illustrate Architects was founded in 2022 by Chris George & Richard Stevenson, with the aim to focus on high quality design and detailing.  The practice has been involved in a wide range of projects within the commercial, residential, education & healthcare sectors.  These have varied in scale from smaller projects of £200k, up to larger schemes of £15m.  The practice works closely with clients to create bespoke solutions that meet their unique requirements.  Alongside design,  Illustrate Architects aim to make buildings as sustainable as possible.  We achieve this through high levels of insulation and air tightness, while using renewable technologies to help reduce their carbon footprint.

Chris George & Richard Stevenson have over 15 years experience as architects, and have worked on various RIBA award winning projects.  These have included contemporary private houses and large mixed use schemes.  Before founding Illustrate Architects, Chris worked predominately on high value private houses, and multi unit residential projects throughout the UK, with project values of over £20m.  Richard worked at Allford Hall Monaghan Morris in London and helped to deliver mixed use schemes with construction values of over a £100m.
